It's back to school time for everyone in our house.

R.C. took his sack lunch and headed off to the studio and class this morning. It's back to his busy schedule. It was GREAT to have him home for a few weeks with us!!

Russell and Max got back to work this morning also. We started out by doing a bit of review and then dove right into some new topics. It's good to be back in "learning mode" after a week and a half break. During our break we did do a few science experiments. We grew rocks in a tank and chiseled away rock in order to uncover and identify several rocks and gems. I am certain we have a paleontologist and geologist in the making.







After a busy day back to school we were able to relax a bit this afternoon. Each of the boys put on their costumes (again) and we headed outside to build a snowman and have a snowball fight with the remaining snow in our back "yard". Surely running and dodging snowballs counts as gym class. Right?! Hot cocoa and an art project finished up our day. Who said school has to be boring?
